For goods subject to national legal inspection and quarantine and other controls,enterprises need to complete relevant procedures before customs declaration for export.

For the equipment (including complete sets of equipment),materials,construction machinery,and daily necessities for personal use of personnel exported under foreign - contracted engineering projects,the customs shall handle the customs clearance procedures based on the project contract or other documents signed by the enterprise and the overseas owner and the export license documents.For commodities subject to export license management,enterprises must first submit an approval application to the commercial department with a valid project contract or other valid documents.

For equipment (including complete sets of equipment),materials,construction machinery,and daily necessities for personal use by personnel exported under overseas contracted engineering projects,customs shall handle the clearance procedures based on the project contracts or other documents signed between the enterprise and the overseas owner,as well as the export licenses.When declaring daily necessities for personal use,the customs supervision method shall be "Other," with the code 9900.

V.Do the goods exported under foreign - contracted engineering projects need to pay taxes when they are re - imported?

The equipment,instruments,and supplies used in the construction of the project exported under foreign - contracted engineering projects shall be re - imported within 3 months after the expiration of the project period specified in the project contract.For the materials re - imported beyond the specified time limit,the customs will handle the relevant procedures in accordance with general trade import goods and levy taxes as required.
