PIL recently announced the launch of its new weekly direct service,KCS,connecting China,South Korea,and Southeast Asia’s major ports in China,South Korea,Singapore,Malaysia,and Vietnam.

The KCS service will commence its maiden voyage from Busan Port,South Korea on July 6.PIL and its partners will jointly deploy a group of vessels with an average capacity of 1800 - 2200 TEU for operation.The port rotation is: Busan - Gwangyang - Shanghai - Shekou - Singapore - Port Klang (West Port) - Penang - Singapore - Ho Chi Minh (Cat Lai) - Nansha - Busan.
Surendran Mathilagath,General Manager of PIL’s Asia Service Department,stated: "The launch of the KCS route is one of PIL’s ongoing efforts to expand its Asian service network and provide customers with high-quality services.The greatest advantage of this route lies in its extensive coverage,connecting nine major ports across China,South Korea,Singapore,Malaysia,and Vietnam.This enables us to offer customers efficient transportation services at more competitive prices.At the same time,it will further enhance connectivity between customers in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia with other regions of the world,meeting market demands."
