The report pointed out that the barley planting area in Kazakhstan in the 2023/24 fiscal year is expected to remain largely unchanged compared to the previous year.However,due to the increase in yield forecasts,producers are optimistic about the barley production in the 2024/25 fiscal year.The yield forecast has risen from the previous 13 quintals per hectare (ц/га) to 17 quintals per hectare,significantly boosting overall production expectations.
