How to completethe license?

I.Exporter:

For quota-managed export commodities,fill in the full name of the import/export enterprise holding the export quota allocation;

For general license-managed export commodities,fill in the full name of any qualified import/export enterprise with export rights;

For debt repayment or compensatory trade exports,fill in the full name of the authorized trading company with export rights;

Forgoods shipped by approved non-enterprise entities,this field may contain the entitys name;

Enterprise code should follow the numbering system established by licensing authorities authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (same applies below).

II.Consignor

For quota-tendered commodities (including compensated and uncompensated tenders),the consignor must match the exporter;

For other quota-managed export commodities,the consignor should in principle match the exporter,though affiliated entities may differ;

For debt repayment exports,compensatory trade exports,and foreign-invested enterprise agency exports,the consignor may differ from the exporter.

IV.Export License Expiry Date

1.For commodities subject to the "one license per batch" system,the validity period of the license shall not exceed three months from the date of issuance.The license for fresh and frozen commodities supplied to Hong Kong and Macao (excluding re-exports) shall be valid for one month.

2.For goods not subject to the "one license per batch" system,as well as export goods under foreign-invested enterprises and compensation trade,the validity period of the license shall be up to six months from the date of issuance.

When a licenses validity spans calendar years,the issuance date may extend into the following year,but no later than the end of February.

Trade Method

This section includes: general trade,barter trade,compensation trade,processing with imported materials,processing with supplied materials,export by foreign-invested enterprises,border trade,outward processing,futures trade,contract projects,export for loan repayment,international exhibitions and fairs,agreement trade,and other trade methods.

For export after processing with imported materials,fill in processing with imported materials in this section.

When foreign-invested enterprises export after processing with imported materials,fill in export by foreign-invested enterprises as the trade method.

4.For non-foreign trade entities shipping exhibition items and samples with a value exceeding 5,000 yuan per batch,this column should be filled in as "International Exhibition."

5.For various import and export enterprises shipping exhibition goods,fill in "International Exhibition" in this column; for shipping samples,fill in "General Trade."

Contract Number

Refers to the export contract code used when applying for licenses,customs declaration,and other procedures.

For crude oil,refined oil,and non-trade exports,the contract number may be left blank.

When shipping exhibits,this section should be filled with the document number of the exhibition approval from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Customs Port

Refers to the shipping port.This section allows filling in three ports,but customs declaration can only be made at one port.

Importing Country (Region)

Refers to the final destination,i.e.the contract destination.Geographical names (e.g.Europe) are not allowed.

Payment Method

This section includes: collection,remittance,promissory note,cash,open account,and free of charge.

Transportation Method

May fill in maritime transport,road transport,airtransport,postal transport,and fixed transport.

Product Name and Code

Fill in according to the standard names in the export license management product catalog issued by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.
