Exporting diesel engines involves many stringent requirements,especiallywith stricter controls.In August,a company requested us to export diesel engines to Ethiopia.We handled booking export flight space,customs clearance and transportation,processingcertificates,and tax rebate services as a one-stop solution.

Diesel engines are classified as dangerous goods and require proper hazardous material labels for air transport.Based on our experience handling hazardous materials,we first conducted an air traffic report for this shipment,which classified it under Hazard Class 3,UN No.3528.We provided suitable UN-certified packaging options for the client (Note: Air transport of dangerous goods requires appropriate UN-certified packaging).Finally,we coordinated with Ethiopian Airlines to apply for cargo space,submitting the product identification report,hazardous material declaration,product details,photos,and packaging information.After analysis and confirmation by the airline,the product was approved for shipment.

Subsequently,we arranged export procedures for the product and prepared customs declaration materials.After customs clearance,the product successfully arrived at the destination airport.Dangerous goodsprocedures differ significantly from regular cargo,requiring special hazardous material standards and incurring higher costs than ordinary shipments.

Its important to note that transporting dangerous goods involves substantial risks,with operational processes,storage,and transportation being far more complex than for regular cargo.Therefore,clients exporting such products must work with highly professional agents.Experienced agents not only resolve numerous complex challenges but also prevent unnecessary issues arising from improper operations.
