In 2023,Brazils agricultural exports saw significant growth.According to a report published on the 16th by Brazils Ministry of Agriculture,agricultural export value reached $166.55 billion,a 4.8% year-on-year increase,accounting for nearly half (49%) of the countrys total exports.This robust growth reflects Brazils pivotal role in the global agricultural market.

In grain exports,Brazil shipped 193.02 million tons,a 24.3% increase,representing 60.3% of the 2022/2023 harvest.This substantial growth highlights Brazils critical role in global food supply.

In Brazils agricultural export structure,soybeans and related products dominate,accounting for 40.4% of total agricultural exports,followed by meat products (14.1%) and forestry products (8.6%).This structure demonstrates Brazils agricultural diversity and competitiveness across different product sectors.

Brazils Deputy Minister of Agriculture for Trade and International Relations,Perosa,stated that Brazil plans to convert degraded pastures into farmland,aiming to sustainably increase agricultural output and solidify its position as a global agricultural powerhouse.This strategy seeks to boost production while protecting the environment and promoting sustainable agricultural development.
