The new safety standards include four aspects,namely general requirements,quality and performance requirements,functional safety inspection,and safety standards for batteries used in ESS.Among these standards,requirements are set for the collection,storage and decomposition of relevant information on the pre - treatment such as handling and storage of reusable batteries.At the same time,functional safety inspections are carried out on the S/W verification of the battery management system (BMS),over - charging voltage and current tests,over - heat control tests,etc.

The proposed approval date and proposed effective time of this revision are October 19,2023,and the comment deadline is June 12,2023.
