Additionally, under the FOB clause, you are responsible for transporting containers to the terminal. If the factory is located far from the port, inland transportation fees may exceed ocean freight costs, which must be factored into the total cost. Finally, a reminder: there is no CY-CY concept for bulk cargo. It is essential to confirm the ownership transfer point with the client in writing after the goods arrive at the warehouse to avoid disputes over cargo damage liability.
