Important Notice: Enterprises using expired codes for the Quarantine License when declaring goods after August 9 will have their declarations rejected.Therefore,it is necessary to reapply for the Quarantine License according to the new codes.

II.Declaration Specification Guidelines

The CIQ code adjustments involve both obsolete and newly added codes.Notably,a clear distinction has been made between chicken wing and claw products for pet food processing and those for human consumption to accommodate different inspection and quarantine standards and customs clearance requirements.

For chicken wing and claw products using the new codes,enterprises must provide an official sanitary certificate for meat exported to China issued by the exporting countrys authorities during declaration.

In addition to the basic declaration requirements,special attention must be paid to the various documents provided,such as the original sanitary certificate,bill of lading,etc.and ensure that the feeding/edible purpose is clearly marked and the correct CIQ code is selected in the Single Window declaration interface.

III.How to Apply for the Quarantine License

1.Enterprises can log in to the "Internet + Customs" website and select the corresponding category under the Animal and Plant Quarantine module to proceed with operations.

2.During the filling process,it is necessary to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of all information,including but not limited to "HS Code," "CIQ Code," "Place of Origin," etc.Additionally,depending on the trade situation,other important details such as "Port of Entry" and "Destination" must also be provided.

Please note: For the Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine License applied for before August 9 that does not match the new codes,enterprises need to reapply for the corresponding license before making the declaration.
