Packaging Methods

Pollution Prevention: Fruits exported to China need to be packed and stored separately from fruits that do not meet the requirements for export to China to avoid cross - contamination.

Damage Prevention: The packaging needs to be strong enough to prevent the fruits from being damaged during transportation.

Breathability: Each pallet must be marked in C or English: "Exported to the People’s Republic of China"; packaging boxes not using pallets must adopt the same marking.

VII.Handling of Non - conformities

Query the Approved List:

Disinfestation treatment: For fruits found to have quarantine pests or other problems,disinfestation treatment is required,and they can be released only after passing the treatment.

Return or destruction: For fruits that fail the inspection and quarantine and have no effective disinfestation treatment methods,they need to be returned or destroyed.

Suspension of import: Under certain specific circumstances,such as the outbreak of a serious plant epidemic in the orchard or processing factory area,or the discovery of quarantine pests of concern to China,the Customs may suspend the import of relevant fruits.
